1          Dorset as a centre for creative landscape research

2          The Natural Environment and the Arts seminars: Projects discussed

3          Update from Hub members on current projects

If you have not come to an Environment Hub meeting before, please do join us!  We welcome organisations and individuals interested in forging stronger working relationships between the environment and arts sectors. Meetings take place 3 or 4 times a year with monthly newsletters in between.

What does the Hub do?

The Environment Hub is working strategically to develop partnerships between arts and environment organisations. It is the main point of contact for arts and environment work in Dorset and has four main strands to its work:

·         Feeding the arts perspective into the strategic plans of environment partners

·         Forging new partnerships between arts and environment organisations

·         Instigating arts and environment projects

·         Identifying skills development needs of the environment and arts sectors and how they can be met

The practical outcome from the Hub work is to broker and support projects in the built or natural environment or which address environmental issues.

Please confirm that you are able to attend.  It will be held in Committee Room 1 – Lower ground floor at County Hall, Dorchester
