Miche and Flo co-founded Touchstone collaborations in 2010. As an ecological arts and research practice, we are dedicated to socially engaged, collaborative arts as a medium for personal and political transformation. Through convivial food practices we explore, celebrate and help regenerate living cultures in balance. As researchers, we look to making these practices inclusive, integrating of cultural difference and respectful of the more-than-human world.
In 2016 we co-created Living Cultures residency with the Sustainability Institute, South Africa, opening new perspectives and forging pathways for connecting kitchen culture to regenerative agriculture. In 2015 we co-curated Soil Culture at Create with CCANW in celebration of The International Year of Soils. In the same year, we received Special Commendation for the CIWEM/CCANW Nick Reeves AWEinspiring Award for Arts, Water and the Environment.
