We have reluctantly decided not to run ‘A Wider Sense of Community’ this November. We had an almost unprecedented level of interest in the course, but insufficient take-up of places to make it viable for us to run it. Clearly we got something wrong here, so we will go away and reconsider. We hope very much to offer it again, in a different form, in the Spring or Summer of 2019.
We have had some feedback that the course was too expensive. This is not so that we can make lots of money – we don’t. The cost reflected the real cost of offering the course as it was designed as a residential course which enables a concentrated period of co-learning and reflection. We need to think again about the offer and to try our best to secure some funding to help with bursaries, etc.
We would welcome any thoughts and feedback from you about what would help you attend this course so that we can factor this into our future offer.
