Interpretation Production Manager
Full time position. 40 hours week
Reports to: Director of Interpretation
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Eden Project’s Interpretation team. We are seeking a Production Manager to project manage the production and delivery of our Interpretation programme comprising permanent exhibits, artworks, capital arts projects, the seasonal live events and temporary exhibitions at our world class tourist destination and environmental charity in Cornwall.
You should be experienced in delivering engaging permanent and temporary installations and programmes. You should relish ̶ and be great at ̶ strategic planning, build specifications and project management: managing people (Eden’s Designer Makers, artists, freelance designers, specialist contractors…), money (budgets, payroll and non-payroll) and time (planning and programming).
You will be working with, and between, designers, creatives, makers, artists, internal and external stakeholders, suppliers and the Eden teams to realise designs and installs across exhibits, artworks, seasonal events and exhibitions. You will need to be organised, a quick thinker, good negotiator, decision maker, team leader, excellent communicator and problem solver who is adaptable, creative, patient and calm under pressure. The role is multifaceted: from strategic planning and presentations to managing teams and builds on site. A great opportunity for someone wishing to deliver a compelling interpretation programme which attracts visitors in large numbers and underpins Eden’s ethos and narrative.
In order to apply for this role you will need to visit the Eden Project website to download an application form. Once this form is complete please email it to contact provided.
The closing date for this role is Monday 5 November, 2018.
