I have 30yrs experience creating work for various situations and contexts (often collaborative and responsive to place). My PhD research focussed on an ‘exploration of place’ through a distillation of practice. I am currently writing an essay Call that art? I call it bad eyesight – musings on the more than ocular arising from my interest in plant based experiments – for an academic title: Creative practice and the non-representational.
I live and work in Falmouth with my partner Mac Dunlop developing projects, residencies and welcoming guests: blauhaus – home, guest house, kitchen / lab / medicinal garden / studio / salon and occasional residency space. Our next salon guests are arts activists Isa Fremeaux & John Jordan https://zadforever.blog and earlier in 2017 we hosted a residency for Marcelo Montes a young virtuoso pianist from Tavira, Portugal who performed to standing ovation at The Poly in Falmouth https://thepoly.org/whats-on/event/262/marcelo-montes-piano-recital
