Natalia works as an artist, performance-maker, researcher and educator. Much of her work takes places on the interface between creative practice and social science. Her PhD was a practice-based research looking at how the arts contribute to communities exploring and setting of on sustainable ways forward. She is keen to develop ways in which the sciences can benefit from artful approaches, as well as demonstrating the importance of the arts in a social context. As part of an ongoing strand of work with the Cornish company Golden Tree she is focussing on coastal erosion and community resilience. Working with the National Trust and Exeter University (Department of Geography and History) she is assessing the impact of Miss You Already (2016) an artistic project around coastal change that took place on 3 National Trust sites.
