from Beverly Naidus:

Dear colleagues – We are hosting another free workshop to gather stories of this time we are going through and we will brainstorm ways to turn them into creative strategies. Our time together includes a short slide show that connects the current pandemic with the climate emergency and the uprisings against white supremacy, authoritarianism, and capitalism, using the lens of social ecology.  We do a meditation and visualization exercise. After that, we will have discussion and a brainstorming break out sessions.

Last time we were joined by four people from our eco-art network, as well as artists and activists from all over the world.  We hope to see you at Sunday’s workshop. It is timed so that folks from across the Atlantic can join us this time. Apologies to those who are across the Pacific from us, although we were impressed that at our last workshop, Jin Lipeng got up at 4 am (Sichuan Province Time) to join us from Chongqing, China.

The best thing about Zoom are the ways we can work together internationally now.

Sending courage and resilience from Tacoma, WA, unceded Puyallup Nation land.
