How much do our courses cost?

Our short course pricing varies depending on the course.  Each of the course pages has details of pricing, and there is always a non-residential option as well as a full residential package. Non-residential pricing includes lunch and the evening meal:  you should be aware that we often work into the evening on our short courses.

As a rough guide:
Our 5-day courses, which usually run from Monday to Friday generally cost around £650 non-residential and £790 for the full residential package.
Our weekend courses, which usually run from Friday evening to Sunday late afternoon generally cost around £195 non-residential and £275 for the full residential package.

The residential package includes all meals and snacks (most of our meals are vegetarian, and we can accommodate most dietary needs), and student-style single rooms with shared bathrooms. This accommodation is basic but the rooms are pleasant and each has a wonderful view of the south Devon countryside.

There is an option (usually) to upgrade to one of Dartington’s hotel rooms. These range from single rooms with shared bathrooms (however in this case you are sharing with no more than one room), single rooms with private bathroom, single, double luxury rooms with ensuite facilities, and suites. Costs obviously vary depending on the kind of room you choose. These rooms are located in Dartington Hall’s medieval courtyard.

Acccessibility

Given the nature of Dartington’s buildings, many rooms are not wheelchair accessible. However modernised, the hotel buildings are in a medieval fabric where providing accessibility has proven to be extremely challenging. The student accommodation blocks were built in the early 1960s before proper attention was paid to the needs of wheelchair users and others with physical limitations.

If you require an accessible room, please contact us before booking and we will ensure you have one at the same cost as a basic single room. All of the accessible rooms in the hotel are double rooms, so if you share a room with your carer, s/he can stay at no additional cost.
